CJ Shell Cowl

Fall is coming…

And with fall comes the pumpkin spice, apple cider, sweaters, bonfires, ear warmers, boots and cowls. It’s my favorite time of the year. I’m a HUGE fan of fall and there is nothing better than pairing up a cowl and ear warmer set to match your outfit.

I have been very busy the last several weeks with jotting down new designs and setting up a plan to get them out to you all. I’ve got an infinity cowl, bulky ear warmer, slouch hat and a few sets of fingerless gloves written out. Now, I just have to find the time to get them worked up and sent out to testers. Some of these patterns will be available to you all for free and some will be a paid pattern from Ravelry.

Today, I am showing off the first piece in the CJ Shell set, the CJ Shell Cowl. It’s a very versatile piece. It can be worn as a shawl or a cowl. It’s perfect to take the chill off your shoulders and neck as you stroll around your favorite farmers market or festival.

This cowl is worked up extra wide and long so it will fit around your shoulders and cover your neck as you see above. You can also wear it as a cowl or a shawl. I love the way Maya has her model wearing her cowl all the way down her arms in the second photo.
