    Pamela Fingerless Gloves

    I’m sitting here on my back deck trying to figure out how to write this blog post and I can’t help but cry a bit as I type. Today is pattern release day for my Pamela Fingerless Gloves. If you guys remember, I wrote a pattern for the Pamela Scarf back in March. That was one of the hardest things I did since I am making this set in memory of my late mom, Pam.     Earth Day Tote… a free crochet pattern.

    Earth Day…. This year Earth Day brings on a whole new meaning. More than ever, we are learning to appreciate the earth and what it does for us by going about things a bit differently then we’re used to. I’m pretty active on social media and I’m seeing more people planting gardens, buying live stock, and they’re beginning to barter with others which cuts down on a lot of unnecessary plastic packaging.     Pamela Scarf

    I’ve recently started designing my own patterns to sell and the first one I made was in tribute to my mom, Pamela. It was a scarf that she would have loved. She couldn’t wear anything that was too tight on her neck and everything had to be soft to the touch, nothing too scratchy. The Pamela Scarf comes in two sizes: M-L and XL – 3X. It is intended to be made with a very soft 4 weight yarn.
