Valentine’s Day Crochet Pattern {little projects that show a lot of love}
The holidays are behind us and now it’s time to bring out the pink and red hearts. LOVE IS IN THE AIR!!
Have you started thinking about ways to show the people you love just how much you care? You don’t need an expensive trip or shiny piece of jewelry to give them. A cute pink bag filled with kisses (chocolate, that is) and maybe movie tickets would be a great idea for the movie lover in your life. What about a cute pink (or blue, green or purple) Valentina Beanie? It’s still winter for a lot of people.
I’m going to show you 10 easy pattern that you can easily whip up in an afternoon. Please keep in mind that all images and copyrights belong to the designers.
1. Love You Latte Ear Warmer (free pattern)
By Joni from Crochet Boss
This ear warmer is so fuzzy and amazing! It’s made with Caron Latte Cakes yarn from Yarnspirations. I adore the Plum color and it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day.
2. Valentina Beanie (paid pattern)
By Denise Sharpe on Ravelry
This hat is a favorite of mine. I love how the criss cross stitches represent the X’s and the puff stitches represent the O’s. I’ve found that this beanie is perfect with the Red Heart Ombré yarn.
3. Heart Cup Cozy (free pattern)
By Amy Dawn from Another Mum Fights The Dust
This is a very simple heart cup cozy that is priceless. She did get the heart pattern from another blog (it’s listed in the pattern) but it is flawless. When you combine the heart with her cozy, it’s perfect. I love it!!
4. Sweet Slippers (free pattern)
By Aunt B from Aunt B’s Loops & Stitches
These baby slippers are so adorable. They can really be made for any holiday. I can see these with a red bow or a heart button on them. It’d go perfect with a cute pink dress.
5. Heart appliqué (free pattern)
By Golden Lucy Crafts
This heart appliqué really takes things to the next level. A lot of thought went into these. I can see them attached to a card, hanging from the rear view mirror, on a box of candy. There’s so much you can do with it and it’s so beautiful.
6. Sweetheart Bobble Bag (free pattern)
By Rebecca from Sweet Bee Crochet
This bag is absolutely adorable. Every little girl and best friend needs this bag filled with their favorite candy. And the best part is that it takes about an hour to make!
7. Heart Basket (free pattern)
By Ling at Hooked On Patterns
This heart basket is so cute because of the final touch with the scallops on top. It’s an add on to her heart coasters so you can just make those if you’d like. It’s like a two for one pattern. How cool!!
8. Kai the Koala (paid pattern)
By Rachel Baumann
This pattern is the cutest amigurumi I’ve seen this year. It’s a koala holding a heart! Who wouldn’t love that? I don’t know if she still doing it, but she’s sending the money from this pattern to the WWF to help the Australian fires.
9. Heart Garland (paid pattern)
By Jennifer Percival on Ravelry
This garland is so cute. I can see this on a classroom window, your mantle at home, or on any doorway. It’s super easy to make so you can make a few of them in no time.
10. Mini Gnome (paid pattern)
By Ronni at Direct Creatives
Gnomes are all the rage right now. This one might not be specific to Valentine’s Day but you can use red yarn and you’re ready to roll. Everyone wants a mini gnome.
