Pamela Fingerless Gloves

I’m sitting here on my back deck trying to figure out how to write this blog post and I can’t help but cry a bit as I type. Today is pattern release day for my Pamela Fingerless Gloves. If you guys remember, I wrote a pattern for the Pamela Scarf back in March. That was one of the hardest things I did since I am making this set in memory of my late mom, Pam. There were a lot of tears and phone calls with my sister on that one. The healing process has started and I don’t cry nearly as much as I used to but it’s still hard.

Ok, so let’s fast forward to today, I have released the second addition to the Pamela Collection, the Pamela Fingerless Gloves. These gloves are a lighter version of the standard gloves. They’re airy and a bit shorter than most. I think that makes them perfect for any season.

These gloves are made with Lion Brand Mandala Ombré yarn but work up beautifully in I Love This Yarn , Caron Simply Soft Speckle and Mandala Tweed Stripes as well.

Supplies needed:

  • H and I hooks
  • Yarn (weight 4)
  • Scissors
  • Yarn Needle

This patterns includes:

  • Sizes Teen/Adult S to Adult L.
  • Directions on how to do special stitches.
  • Counted stitches at the end of each round

Approx yardage:
– 150 -190 yards.
The yardage of yarn will vary depending on the brand of yarn.

All the stitches are pretty common and there is a detailed description for the special stitches.
