XL North Mountain Face Scrubs…. a free crochet pattern.

Face Scrubs are so much fun to have in your skin care routine. Whether it’s using them to take off your make-up or to wash your face, they provide an economical and softer way to rid your face of all the impurities of the day. You use them, wash them and then reuse them.
Now let’s get to the pattern!
Notes:
- Skill Level: Easy
- Finished size: 4”
Materials:
- 5 mm hook
- 4 weight cotton yarn, 55 yards
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations:
- CH = chain
- SC = single crochet
- SL ST = slip stitch
- HDC = half double crochet
- DCDEC V Stitch = double crochet decrease v-stitch
Special Stitches:
- DC DEC V – STITCH: Yarn over, insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull though hook. Yarn over and pull through two loops. Yarn over, insert hook into same stitch. Yarn over and pull through hook. Yarn over and pull through two loops. Yarn over and pull through remaining three loops. Repeat that process twice in the same stitch.
Pattern:
Creating a magic circle,
Round 1: 8 SC. SL ST to the first SC. Turn (8 SC)
Round 2: CH 2. 2 HDC in each stitch across. SL ST to the first HDC. Turn (16 HDC)
Round 3: Ch 2. 2 HDC in the first stitch. 1 HDC in the next stitch. *2 HDC in the next stitch. 1 HDC in the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * six more times. SL ST to the first HDC. DO NOT TURN (24 HDC)
Row 4: Ch 3, *DCDEC V stitch in the next stitch. CH 1, Skip next stitch.* Repeat from * to * 11 times. SL ST to the top of the first DCDEC. SL ST to the first DCDEC stitch. DO NOT TURN (12 DCDEC V-stitch, 12 ch spaces)
ROW 5: CH 1, SC in each stitch and chain across. SL ST to the first SC. ( 36 SC) Tie off and weave in your ends.
