Stacked Pumpkins…. new pattern
IT’S SPOOKY SEASON! I can not believe it’s already my birthday. That means school is starting soon (next week for us) and shortly after that Fall comes. And you know that Fall brings all sorts of good things. Pumpkin lattes, corn mazes, hay bales, sweaters, and knee high boots. I can’t wait. It’s been so hot here lately that I am gladly going to welcome the cold weather. I have a new pattern ready for you guys. It’s stacked pumpkins. What better way to get ready for Fall/Halloween? These pumpkins can be made separately but I have designed them to be stacked.

Christmas in July.. Week 4
I am so sad that today is the last Friday in July. It’s also the last week in my Christmas in July campaign. We have been so busy with buying our house and my daughter turning 18 that I haven’t even had time to enjoy hardly any of the Christmas movies that were on the Hallmark channel. But, that’s ok because the Christmas season will be upon us soon enough. Oh, and check out what my loving husband bought me tonight! We had to run my son up to the mall to get his new phone activated and we took a stroll into the Hallmark store. It’s the Hallmark Nightmare…

Christmas in July… Week 3
Miss Priss Plant Hanger You’re going to think this post has nothing to do with Christmas but I promise it does. This week’s project is for the plant lovers. The Miss Priss Plant Hanger is designed and named in honor of my niece, Priscilla. She’s a huge plant geek just like I am. This hanger is made to fit the 4 inch terra cotta pots. Those pots are absolutely perfect for putting a baby succulent or plant in. Or even better for you to take a cutting from your favorite plant to share with a loved one. All you need to do is buy a terra cotta pot, work up…

Christmas in July… free printable gift tags
Can you believe we are already on week two of Christmas in July? This past week has flown by. But, I have to admit, I didn’t do anything to prepare for the holiday. Ugh… I know, I know. It’s a shame. But what are we going to do. If you know me personally, you would know that this is very unusual. I should be almost done shopping by now. I’ve been so excited with helping you guys get inspired and hopefully jump start your way into the second half of the year that I haven’t even thought about what my plans are. If you haven’t seen Week 1, you can…

Christmas in July
You either love it or hate it…. personally, I LOVE IT!! Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has already begun their holiday movies and don’t get me wrong, I love them, but the real deal starts TODAY on the Hallmark Channel. Those are the good ones since nothing bag happens in them. No sad stories. There’s always a snowball fight and then the almost kiss. You know what I’m talking about. It’s awesome even though it’s cliche. The Christmas in July movies get me so excited every year. It’s just what I need to get myself into gear and start prepping for the holidays. It gets me so excited, that I have…

The Best of Summer Wearables round up.
Summer is here and so is the hot weather. Most crocheters put their hook down during the summer because it’s just too hot to crochet. And I agree 100% with doing that. I could not crochet a blanket in the summer with the heavy weight of it sitting on my lap day after day. Thankfully, we don’t have to put our hooks down anymore. We can now make hot summer trendy clothing articles. Here is a list of cute pieces of clothing that you can make now and wear all summer long. Some of these items are paid patterns and some are free patterns. Are you ready to take a…

Lakeside Cover Up…. free pattern
It’s official… summer is here to stay. It was in the 80s today and I can already tell I’m going to die this summer. It’s time to hit the lake for afternoons of swimming, snacking and lounging in the shade. I have teamed up with Michelle Ferguson over at Two Brothers Blankets and am her guest blogger for the month of June. I designed a swimsuit cover up that is perfect to throw around your waist when you’re spending the day at the lake or pool. You can easily throw it over your shoulders when you’re ready to leave if you’d like. It can be worn either way. All you…

A bit of warmth (and a beaded bottle carrier)
Wow, has it been a crazy month. I’ve got one kid who’s going through the college admission process and one who is just wrapping up homeschool co-op and the school year. I wanted to get this pattern out to you on Earth Day but that just wasn’t going to happen. I’m only four days late on it but that’s OK. I won’t give you a novel to read before the pattern so here it is… If you would like to purchase the pdf of this pattern you can find it on Ravelry HERE. This will allow you to print it off and keep it in your files if anything were…

Knitting Machines are all the rage right now
If you’re a yarn crafter, you know that these circular knitting machines are very popular right now. I believe it all started when Kaytedid86 on Tik Tok shared her Tik Tok beanie. Everyone wanted one and those things almost doubled in price over a matter of two weeks. They went from like $60 up to over $100. If you were lucky enough to get one ordered, it took about 8-12 weeks for delivery. Some people are still waiting for them. So, naturally, I had to have one. To be fair, I’ve been eyeing them for a few years now but it was her video that pushed me over the edge…

Christmas is coming…
Does anyone else get this overwhelming feeling when you realize that Christmas is only 5 days away? I was definitely feeling the strain for about four weeks. I usually have my ducks in a row and everything done by Halloween but I didn’t even start my shopping until the second week of Nov. I just finished up buying presents on Saturday and wrapped ALL of the presents on Friday. It was definitely a struggle. LOL But, can we talk about crocheting for a bit? I decided I wanted new stockings this year and instead of buying them on Amazon for $20 a set, I started crocheting stockings for the family.…
