CJ Shell Cowl
Fall is coming… And with fall comes the pumpkin spice, apple cider, sweaters, bonfires, ear warmers, boots and cowls. It’s my favorite time of the year. I’m a HUGE fan of fall and there is nothing better than pairing up a cowl and ear warmer set to match your outfit. I have been very busy the last several weeks with jotting down new designs and setting up a plan to get them out to you all. I’ve got an infinity cowl, bulky ear warmer, slouch hat and a few sets of fingerless gloves written out. Now, I just have to find the time to get them worked up and sent…

Hat Not Hate.. an anti-bullying campaign
I don’t know if you’ve heard or not but there’s this really neat campaign called Hat Not Hate. A bunch of us crafters are uniting and donating our time and blue hats to the cause. Phew, has it been crazy around here. We finally got moved and settled down about three weeks ago. I am loving the house we have and I’m beginning to get back into the swing of things. I’ve crocheted a few things here and there but I really want to talk about the Phoebe set. You guys remember the Brooklyn set I made last year, right? I made a personal set of the ear warmer, fingerless gloves and cowl. It is such an amazing set. I still have it and wear it often. This year, my friend worked up a pattern for a new set, The Phoebe! I tested the hat,…

Rhea Cowl
Good Morning. I hope everyone had a great weekend and is getting ready to have an amazing week. Let’s talk about big, bulky and beautiful! I tested this incredible pattern for Denisse Sharpe over at DeniMade and she did not let me down. The Rhea Cowl is a cowl and a hood all in one and I am in love with it.. It took 4 skeins of yarn ( I bought ILTY from Hobby Lobby), a J hook, and a bunch of puff and v stitches. Along with a few other things as well. It measures 31 inches long and 17.5 inches wide on the bottom part. You may think…

Brooklyn Fingerless Gloves… Do you like them?
As some of you know already, I am a pattern tester for some of the gals on FB. There’s one in particular that I love testing for, Denisse Sharpe. You can find her over on Facebook at DeniMade. I had the pleasure of working up her Brooklyn Fingerless Gloves over the weekend and let me tell you… THEY ARE AMAZING! I don’t usually care for fingerless gloves but these are so awesome that I have worn them all weekend. The gloves are part of her Brooklyn collection. She’s got the a beanie, slouch hat, messy bun hat, ear warmers, cowl, and now the gloves. Check them out 🙂 And…
